On-site infrastructure support

Technology Facility Management

A server room depends on more than servers. Power, cooling, access and maintenance all affect the equipment inside it. Airconnect helps coordinate the agreed facility and IT support activities so that operational responsibilities are clear.

Define the site and the responsibilities

We review the facility, installed systems, existing maintenance arrangements and support needs. The scope distinguishes IT engineering from electrical, mechanical, fire and building-system work carried out by the responsible contractors.

Keep the operating information current

Site checks can cover equipment status, environmental readings, asset records, maintenance schedules and incident logs. The activities and inspection frequency are agreed for the facility; they do not replace statutory or specialist inspections.

Coordinate maintenance and incident handling

Where a cooling, power or physical-access issue affects IT, the support team needs a clear escalation path. We help coordinate the relevant providers, access approvals and planned work within the agreed responsibilities.

On-site staff with a defined role

Resident or scheduled engineering support can be included for the location. Duties, shifts, supervision, handover records and escalation contacts are defined before deployment.

  • Site baseline and asset records
  • Agreed operating checklists
  • Incident and maintenance coordination
  • Vendor and escalation contact matrix
  • Periodic site reporting

Questions and answers

Does this include HVAC and electrical maintenance?

The proposal states whether specialist maintenance is included, coordinated through a contractor or retained by your facility team. Responsibilities are not assumed from the service name.

Can you provide resident IT engineers?

On-site support can be scoped by role, location, working hours and responsibilities. Staffing arrangements are agreed for the engagement.

Is facility management the same as system integration?

No. Integration concerns connecting and deploying technology systems. Facility management concerns the ongoing operation and coordination of the site and supporting services.
