Map the dependencies first
We review how users, applications, networks and data flows connect. The design identifies interfaces, access requirements, compatibility limits and the responsibilities of each vendor or application owner.
Make the implementation manageable
The delivery plan sets out installation, configuration, migration and test activities. Live changes are coordinated with the relevant owners, including the approvals, service windows and rollback arrangements needed for the work.
Test the system, not just the component
Acceptance checks follow the agreed use cases. Connectivity, access, data paths and failure scenarios are tested to the extent defined in scope. Open issues and dependencies are recorded before handover.
Leave a usable record
Handover includes the agreed architecture, installed configuration and operating responsibilities. Ongoing monitoring or support can be added as a separate, defined service.

Application integration is assessed separately from infrastructure deployment. The scope states the interfaces, application owners and specialist development work involved.
What happens after go-live?
The project handover defines ownership and warranty/support arrangements. Managed operations can be included or contracted separately.
